Welfare Benefits Service
The Welfare Benefits Service provides specialist welfare rights advice for clients involved in Personal Injury and Court of Protection matters. The service helps clients identify, secure and maintain entitlement to state benefits and other forms of financial support.
Services include annual welfare benefit reviews in line with Deputyship standards, assessments of benefit entitlement, guidance on the interaction between benefits, compensation awards, trusts and pensions, and reviews of care cost assessments to ensure clients are receiving appropriate support.
The team also provides welfare benefits advice, guidance and training tailored to Deputies, professional representatives and clients.
