Jackie is the Director of Positive OT & Case Management Ltd, an independent OT and Case Management service which focuses on holistic and practical strategies to enable clients to reach their chosen goals. Jackie established the business in 2017 and she continue to provide hands on case management services alongside her role as managing director. Jackie has worked in the case management industry since 2008 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience of working with adults and children who have sustained catastrophic injuries. Jackie also continues to practice as a Occupational Therapist providing hands on occupational therapy interventions to injured persons as part of the clients multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team. Key Competencies:Working with children and adults who have acquired brain injury, spinal injury, complex orthopaedic and traumatic injury, and injuries sustained at birth.Delivery of creative occupational therapy interventions.Development and review of rehabilitation programs for individuals with acquired brain injury.Completion of immediate needs assessments and case management interventions.Environmental assessments and recommendation of housing adaptations, assessment and recommendation of specialist seating, equipment and wheelchair accessible vehicles. Management of case management teams and quality assurance of work undertaken.Support and supervision of OTs and Case Managers.Experienced in the recruitment of support workers and their ongoing support and supervision.CQC Registered ManagerJackie is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and is an Advanced member of the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM).
