At High View Care Services, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, independence and hope. Founded in 2004 by inspirational Social Worker Margaret Lakidi, High View was created from a simple but powerful vision under pinned by social work values to improve the quality of life for adults living with acquired brain injury and other complex conditions through compassionate specialist rehabilitation and support.
High View is a trusted provider of specialist neurorehabilitation and complex needs services across South East London, offering four CQC-regulated homes alongside our specialist community – based outreach neurorehabilitation service. Our services are designed to support individuals at every stage of their rehabilitation journey, whether within one of our residential homes, in the community or within their own home environment.
What makes High View unique is our deeply person-centred and relationship-led approach. We do not simply provide care — we provide pathways towards stability, wellbeing, rehabilitation and greater independence. Every client is seen as an individual with strengths, goals, experiences and potential. Our teams work alongside each person with compassion, consistency and unconditional positive regard, creating therapeutic environments where people feel safe, valued and empowered.
Our small and supportive homes are designed for adults with severe acquired brain injury and complex neuropsychological, emotional or behavioural needs. Many of the individuals we support may experience difficulties with memory, attention, emotional regulation, motivation, daily living skills, social relationships or mental health. We also support individuals with histories of substance misuse, social isolation and challenges with independent functioning.
At the heart of High View is our specialist transdisciplinary rehabilitation model. Using a “one plan, one team” approach, our clinical and support teams work seamlessly together to provide consistent, 24-hour therapeutic rehabilitation. This means that every interaction throughout the day becomes an opportunity to build confidence, independence, life skills and emotional wellbeing.
Our experienced in-house therapy and wellbeing teams include Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Neuro Rehabilitation Coaches, Assistant Psychologists, Neuro Rehab Coaches and specially trained Rehabilitation Assistants. Together, they deliver individually tailored, evidence-based rehabilitation programmes that focus on meaningful outcomes and measurable progress.
In addition to our residential rehabilitation pathways, High View also offers a specialist outreach service led by our in-house therapy team. Our outreach and wellbeing pathways are designed to support clients living more independently within the community or their own homes, helping individuals continue their rehabilitation journey while maintaining connection, structure and therapeutic support.
We understand that rehabilitation is not always linear, and every journey is different. That is why our approach remains flexible, nurturing and realistic while always maintaining belief in each person’s potential. Whether somebody requires structured residential rehabilitation, long-term complex needs support, wellbeing pathways or community outreach, High View provides specialist support within environments built on dignity, compassion and trust.
At High View, we are committed to inspiring change from within, enhancing wellbeing and helping every client build a life with greater confidence, purpose and opportunity.
