Christine Dyson – Hodge Jones & Allen

An early interest in elderly law ignited a commitment to work for those who lack mental capacity and struggle to express their own views and opinions. Christine has dedicated a large part of her career, to date, assisting and representing the more vulnerable in society to ensure their views and opinions are listened to.
Christine is a partner and Head of the Mental Capacity & Deputyship department at Hodge Jones & Allen.
Christine specialises in Deputyships for individuals affected by catastrophic injuries. She makes a wide range of applications to the court covering Statutory Wills, Trustee and gift applications.
Christine is skilled at all aspects of Court of Protection work and experienced in drafting documents including trust deeds and powers of attorney.
Christine is an experienced trainer on issues surrounding the Mental Capacity Act. She is keen to share her knowledge of the legal implications of lack of capacity with different support professionals including doctors and social workers.
Caroline Featherby – Enable Law
Caroline has been a member of the PDF for some years and in 2025 joins as a Committee Member. Caroline acts as financial Deputy and Trustee for a number of clients with acquired brain injuries and supports in managing a large Court of Protection team located across offices in Bristol, Plymouth and Southampton. Caroline specialises in supporting clients and families both during and post litigation, working closely with the litigation teams and finding innovative and bespoke ways to enhance and improve P’s quality of life while building strong and trusting relationships with both the client’s and their families.
